John has 30 years experience in the Tourism Industry. For six years he was Sales Manager of the Four Star Limerick Inn Hotel, progressing to General Manager/Director of the hotel for fifteen years. He then moved on to take up the position of Managing Director of the Green Hills Hotel in Limerick, where he spent two years before setting up Meet Limerick Shannon Ltd., a Public/Private Initiative, Conference & Sports Bureau for the Limerick and Clare region. John remained with this company as Chief Executive for four years before forming his own company John Fahey Consulting Ltd.
John is a keen sports enthusiast with a passion for Rugby and Golf. He is a current member of Dromoland Castle Golf & Country Club (13 years).
He is also a member and Trustee of Garryowen Rugby Football Club. Over the years he has served his rugby club as Secretary (2 years) President (2 years) and Club Chairman (2 years). He is a former member of the Irish Rugby Football Union (4 years) and represented Garryowen R.F.C. on the Munster Branch of the I.R.F.U for nine years.

Wim Crabbe has over 25 years experience in the global hospitality industry, including 15 years with leading hotel companies such as Swissotel and Loews Hotels. Prior to representing BEM Ireland, Wim spearheaded the DMC division of one of North America’s largest hotel and DMC representation firms. Wim has strong and personal relationships with DMCs, Event Companies and Professional Congress Organizers. A native of Belgium, Wim is fluent in English, French and Dutch. He is retained as the sales representative for the USA and Canadanian markets for BEM Ireland.
William Henry
History & Culture Consultant
A local historian, archaeologist and author from Galway City, William Henry served five years in the reserve army FCA (5th Field Supply & Transport). He lectures on local history, archaeology and folklore to local, national and international historical and archaeological societies. He is also a regular guest speaker at local and national events, and festivals. He is also a Historical & Archaeological Guide for Galway City & County for local, national and international historical & archaeological societies and other organizations and tourists. He has been the official historical guide for the annual Galway Early Music Festival for over ten years.
Willy is a committee member of the Galway Archaeological & Historical Society and a former committee member of the Old Galway Society. He is also a former director of Galway Civic Trust. He was the recipient of a number of awards, the latest being the Mayoral Award Winner for Heritage, Environment & Conservation.
